Rooted in the heart of Southwest Michigan, Indivisible Paw Paw is a chapter of the non-partisan national organization Indivisible.
Indivisible Paw Paw is a grassroots community of individuals, located in Van Buren County and the surrounding areas. We are united to protect and strengthen our democracy. We believe in building a just, inclusive, and representative government—one that truly reflects the voices of the people.
Through local action, civic engagement, and collective advocacy, we stand together against authoritarianism, to defend voting rights, and to hold our leaders accountable.
Our mission is clear: to create a future where democracy works for everyone—starting right here in the "Mitten" state.
On April 25, we’re joining Detention Watch Network and Disappeared in America for a coordinated, nationwide mobilization against the Trump administration's reckless expansion of ICE warehouse detention centers.
Our partners will host six major events at frontline sites -- communities where new detention centers are actively being proposed. We’re also asking folks to host visible, peaceful, non-violent actions in your own communities to draw attention to the cruelty of Trump’s detention agenda and to pressure our local officials to resist the construction of new detention centers.
We’re pushing local governments to:
Abandon any plans to construct new detention centers or convert existing warehouses into detention centers.
Refuse to provide any public funding, permits, services, or cooperation that would enable DHS or ICE to operate a detention facility.
Require transparency and community consent before any federal detention action.
If you haven't yet attending a Todos Bienvenidos (TBV) rapid response and immigrant support training session, and are interested in doing so, please register here.
Details, including location, will be emailed after you register. Please be sure to type in your email address accurately.

Led by May Day Strong and building on the momentum of No Kings 3, this May Day will be a day of economic disruption, as we flex our collective power to demand an end to the oligarch-enabled Trump regime.
The central action will be a proactive, nonviolent choice to engage in little-to-no economic activity on May 1: no work, no school, no shopping!
Not everyone will be able to do everything -- if you can spend no money on May 1, that's fantastic. If you can walk away from work and/or school, even better. Join a local activity? Also great! (As with the No Kings events, we'll have a map of events coming soon.)
Headed to Southwest Michigan to perform a benefit concert for Local Mutual Aid on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
